INTRODUCTION

Adenita is an interactive modeling and visualization software for the design of large scale DNA Nanostructures.

Work with proteins and DNA
X

METHOD

We employ a model that unites a top-down description of the DNA nanostructure with the traditional bottom-up description.

Logic model for DNA Nanostructures
X

CREATE

Create novel DNA Nanostructures from scratch or using parametrized editors. Routing algorithms such as Daedalus[1] are also available.

Save and load parts your nanostructures, or import already existing designs from tools such as CaDNAno[2].

X

MODIFY

We provide flexibility to modify the nanostructures, thus overcoming limitations of automatic procedures.

We offer a modular approach to the design of DNA Nanostructures, in which different designs can be combined to create new ones.

X

VISUALIZE

We have developed a visual model specifically conceived for DNA Nanostructures [3], [4].

CONCLUSIONS

  • In Adenita we developed an innovative hierarchical model for the design of DNA nanostructures.
  • Higher-order DNA frameworks can be assembled using an interactive modeling toolkit.
  • Adenita provides an user interface to analyze and interact with the structural properties through a multiscale visualization.
  • Combining different design methods in a modular way.
  • Our software aims to design functional nanodevices.
